Can enough money alter the truth?

in the Garden District of New Orleans...

Catherine Holly has witnessed the murder of her cousin Sebastian at Cabeza Del Lobo.  The horrible event sent her to a psychiatric hospital.

When Sebastian's mother, wealthy Garden District matron Violet  Venable, invites a psychiatrist to question Catherine about her story, she paints a picture so graphic it's almost unbelievable.

Mrs. Venable refuses to believe it and will stop at nothing to insure that her son's secrets remain secrets.

In one of Tennessee Williams' most haunting pieces of writing, how far will a mother go to preserve her son's reputation?

"It represents Mr. Williams at the peak of his talent... his most devastating statement about corruption in the world."  - The New York Times

"A haunting spell that is virtually hypnotic in its compelling power." – New York Post
